National Foster Care Awareness Month
Partner with Uniting Hope!
May is National Foster Care Awareness Month!
Each May, we take time to acknowledge foster parents, family members, volunteers, mentors, policymakers, child welfare professionals, and other members of the community who help children and youth in foster care find permanent homes and connections. We use this time to renew your commitment to ensuring a bright future for the more than 391,000 children and youth in foster care nationwide, and recognize those who make a meaningful difference in their lives.
Join us all month long as we spread awareness and work together to serve foster children and empower families!
Whether you’re a parent, teacher, volunteer, caretaker, or concerned community member, we have something for you!
